Mary Ann Recipes
This recipe book is a deeply personal project, inspired by the stories and recipes passed down from my grandmothers. They both passed away when I was very young, but food has always been my strongest connection to them. I wanted the design to reflect the warmth and nostalgia of their era, so I incorporated a strong 1970s vintage aesthetic, especially in the chapter dividers. Every detail from the colors to the typography was chosen to capture that timeless feel, making this book not just a collection of recipes, but a tribute to family, tradition, and the memories we keep alive through food.

Jeannie, my father's mother, played a significant role in inspiring this cookbook. Although I never had the chance to meet her, I created this collection in her honor as a tribute to her legacy.

Barbra, my mother's mother, was a meaningful inspiration for this cookbook. My mom has always shared her favorite recipes with me, many of which have become cherished family traditions.

I personally photographed certain ingredients, like this pineapple and cherry, and carefully enhanced the images to highlight their vibrant colors and rich details.

I then incorporated images of the ingredients to create unique, 1970s-inspired designs for the chapter dividers, blending nostalgia with a modern artistic touch.
