Live to F****** Create.
"Live to F****** Create" is a book I designed to inspire artists to embrace their individuality and push creative boundaries. It features a mix of hand-drawn artwork, scanned and layered with bold typography to create dynamic compositions. Some pieces are built entirely from type, using distortion, separation, and layering to form expressive visuals. True to my love for color, this book is bursting with vibrant hues, making each page an immersive experience. This whole identity included a full size poster, a book, a work in progress poster and a hand out cards. At its core, this project is a reminder that we should all strive to be unique artists, constantly exploring new ways to express ourselves.
The black and white images are all six word stories that were created all with a central theme.
This particular one was created by hand then scanned into the computer.
From the drawn by hand spread, I scanned this into the computer and drew over it to add a deeper color scheme.
Played around with paint to begin the layering with type process.
Played around with watercolor and markers to begin the layering with type process.
Created some colorful spreads with procreate to give another texture to the layering process.
